Bio
Siobhan Murray grew up in Massachusetts and began dancing at the age of 3, receiving her early training from The Gold School Dance Art under Rennie Gold. She graduated from the Ailey/Fordham BFA program, where she was lucky enough to intensively train in techniques including Ballet, Horton, Graham, and West African, while simultaneously learning about the techniques’ rich histories and origins. She has performed works by Amy Hall Garner, Ebony Williams, Christopher Huggins, Earl Mosley, as well as excerpts from Alvin Ailey’s repertoire. She now dances for Barkin/Selissen Project, directed by Kyla Barkin and Aaron Selissen, as well as AThomasProject under Alrick Thomas and XY Dance Project under Nijawwon Matthews. She most recently performed in APAP at Peridance. Siobhan strives to tell a story of the shared human experience through her movement, and is thankful for every opportunity she has to share her love for dance.
