Caci Cole: Dancer
What Moves You?
“Moving is therapeutic for me. It’s a special way for me to escape into euphoria and tune out inhibitions for a moment. Sometimes I am moved by sharing a story and emoting something I can’t quite articulate verbally. Other times I’m ignited to move purely through music and exploring different ways to embody works. ‘I believe in spirit and then I believe a manifestation of spirit is dance’- Judith Jamison”
Caci Cole Pritchett began her dance training under Michael Garrison of North Atlanta Ballet. She later received her Bachelor’s degree from the Alvin Ailey/Fordham BFA Program as an E. Corrigan Scholar with a concentration in Pre-Med studies. Caci has had the opportunity to perform works by Ron K. Brown, Sylvia Waters, Matthew Rushing, Laurie Taylor, Norbert de la Cruz III, Darrell Grand Moultrie, and Lloyd Culbreath. She was also a soloist with Moving Spirits Inc for the 2015-2016 season. This fall Caci will be performing as a dancer/vocalist in the London, Philadelphia, and NY tour of Bill T. Jone’s production, “We Shall Not Be Moved”.
