Feng Jiang: Performance Artist and Writer
What Moves You?
Feng Jiang is a dancer, writer, singer and actor. Originally from Taiwan, he has been in the U.S. since 2016. He currently is a graduate student at Pratt Institute as a member of the inaugural cohort in the new M.F.A. Performance and Performance Studies Program. The fundamental inspiration for his work is love, including the beauty and also the hard work in it. Topics of his works include gender, sexuality, sex, and race. He draws on different dance vocabularies, such as street, modern, and contemporary. Artwork creation is regarded as a healing/questioning process for him.
