What Moves You? @ Eury German

This week is extra special because we’re featuring the newest member of SoHa Dance, Eury German! He is joining SoHa as a performer for our upcoming show in August and will also be interning with the Company. As a fellow “late starter” in the dance world, I respect and am fully impressed with Eury’s desire, talent, and drive to be an artist in this field. Keep an eye on him, but for now, let’s find out what moves Eury…

New York City

What Moves You?
“Curiosity moves me. An insatiable hunger for discovery and innovation. I move to satisfy the need to move. I move to discover new ways of moving, researching, exploring, and discovering.”

Eury German is a dancing artist originally from the Dominican Republic, but has lived north of Boston all his life before moving to New York City this summer. Eury started dancing modern and ballet at Wesleyan University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Dance. To further his technique Eury attended the American Dance Festival Six Week School in the summer of 2014 and The San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and Strictly Seattle in the summer of 2015. In the fall of 2016 Eury will be attending the New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts to earn an MFA in Dance.
